But the former city councilwoman has been doing much more, expanding the agency’s role and helping grow the arts and entertainment industry at a rapid rate.

Andrew Hoan has stepped in for outgoing CEO Carlo Scissura – but the former staffer at the Borough President’s office plans to continue to promote the Brooklyn brand like his predecessor, and keep the high political profile of the state’s largest chamber intact.
